The SCHÖNES LEBEN Group with its subsidiary compassio has opened the senior citizens‘ residence Haus Marie-Eberth in Schongau, Bavaria. The property developer, WOB Immobilien GmbH from Grünwald near Munich, constructed the modern. new building in 13 months. The range of services includes long-term care, short-term care and adult day care. The facility is located in the direct vicinity of the Schongau hospital and provides care for a total of 111 senior citizens. Residents and employees started moving into the new building at the beginning of the month.

The senior citizens‘ residence Haus Marie-Eberth is impressive with its modern, light-filled architecture that blends harmoniously into its surroundings. Special attention was paid to the design of the residential and lounge areas, which respond to the individual needs of the residents with high quality and innovative design features. The spacious one- and two-bed apartments create a homelike atmosphere and are equipped in accordance with the latest standards. Residents can meet and spend time together in communal rooms that are aesthetically designed. Organizations and companies are invited to attend various events at Café Bergblick on the ground floor, which will be an open facility and meeting place for both residents and citizens of the community. This will reinforce and expand the existing cooperation with the healthcare campus of the Krankenhaus GmbH further.

With the care specialist compassio, the SCHÖNES LEBEN Group currently operates more than 30 senior citizens‘ homes and centers throughout Germany; further locations are under construction. The SCHÖNES LEBEN Group acquired the A+R Group with locations in Ahrensburg, Reinfeld and Schongau at the end of 2018. The first new nursing home in Ahrensburg was officially opened in April 2019. After the recent opening in Schongau, the nursing facility in Reinfeld will commence operation in November of this year.
